I am not a sports fan (despite what the photo below suggests!), but admittedly, I got fully swept up in the World Series baseball fever that gripped the nation! And while game seven left many of us in despair, I ultimately felt profound thanks for the unexpected lessons the Boys of Summer taught me.
💙The Blue Jays didn’t just play like pros, they played the way we are meant to-for the love of the game, the way we played as kids. It was sports at its finest.
💙They gifted their fans with the shared ride of cheering for a championship team-a very special and a uniting experience. When we gather in community, energy is amplified.
💙They helped me see how sports can be a space where people (men especially, including the players themselves) can safely show the range of their emotions. It made me appreciate sports in a different way.
💙They reminded me of the importance of having FUN! Joy is good for us! And watching the game with friends, texting about it in the family chat, talking about it with the neighbours are all simple ways to have little microbursts of connection.
And while Sunday morning felt a little sad and despondent at first, as the day wore on, I was filled with a surprising sense of deep gratitude.
Take Joy in the Simple Things 🥰
We’ve got some radical and even explosive astrology happening now in the cosmos, with its corresponding energy, as always, here on earth - as above, so below. Yet in the midst of this, today, we have a big invitation to slow down and get grounded with the Taurus Full Moon🌚♉️
Taurus knows that slow & steady efforts bring results, just like we saw with the Jays all through this past year. Full Moons bring maximum light, so that we can see things clearly. The Taurus Full Moon reminds us that if you’re moving too fast, you’ll miss what’s plainly in front of you.
The Full Moon can feel intense and energizing, so pace yourself! Get your bare feet on the ground while you have your morning coffee * go for a walk outside, device free noticing what surrounds you * soak in a warm bath or shower * have a nap * do some meditation* journal * be sure to tend to your body and your needs.
Stop rushing & just be 🧘🏻♀️ Taurus is a sign that is lush & bountiful, so let THAT energy sink in deep.
Maybe it’s the Jays, maybe it’s Jupiter🤔
What we focus on, grows and I’ve got my attention firmly on abundance. The joyride I enjoyed with the Jays, the fertile Taurus Moon shining on us, Jupiter at the top of my chart, my birthday coming up later this month, all of it has me considering what I appreciate and on that list is….YOU!I appreciate you.
I appreciate the replies I receive to these newsletters, your comments online, the downloads of my interviews, your sharing of my content with family & friends and your purchase of my services. Your support of the work I do means the world to me!
Things may feel like a roller coaster this month - did I mention Mercury Retrogrades from the 9th until the 29th? 😬- but we don’t have to get swept up in the whirlwind. Stay grounded, stay connected and count your blessings, literally! A daily gratitude practice where you write out 3 different things you are grateful for each day is a life changer! You in? Let’s play ball!
Peace, Love and Light🕊️
