Surprise! Surprise! Eclipse Season is Here! This Joker is WILD!

Eclipse season arrives with the Sagittarius Full Moon on Wednesday, amplifying the charged energy of the bright night sky. Historically, eclipses were a time to be feared, and often heralded the death of the king. Whether that death is literal or metaphorical will become apparent in the days and weeks to come. We typically fear death in modern, western culture, and yet a healthier way to view it may be as a necessary transition; part of the evolution and transformation of our human experience.

I have (mostly😂) learned to embrace transformation in the last few years, tapping into my resilient Scorpio sun to shine a light on those areas to which I may have previously turned a blind eye. Denial is not just a river in Egypt 😉 😂 Astrology has been a helpful guide as I have surrendered to the metamorphosis, and I was awakened to its gifts through a chart reading with the talented guide, Kimberly McGrath from Expressions of the Universe. In my most recent podcast episode on Being Who You Are, Kim and I explore how living authentically has led her to her current path. You can check out the interview here.

In times of transition and change, remember that uncertainty equals possibility 🦋 🦋 🦋

It feels like we’ve had a year of non-stop pivoting and learning to go with the flow. The pandemic has been a baptism by fire into the realm of relinquishing control. So, eclipse season should be a cakewalk, right? Let’s hope! A healthy way to approach the energy of Wednesday’s eclipse and full moon is to stay flexible, open and EMBODIED! This means dropping down from your head into your heart and listening to the wisdom of your body. Not sure how to do this? Join me for Zoom yoga! How might the eclipse energy show up? For me, last year’s eclipses brought unexpected communication from an old love – 8th House themes of intimacy – and a surprising health challenge for my brother – 3rd House of siblings activated. Wednesday’s eclipse is in my 2nd House, so topics which may come into play could include finances, what I value, my sense of self-worth, and how I feel safe and secure. It is also close to my natal Neptune, the idealistic planet of spirituality, interconnection and dreams. A less healthy Neptune can show up as escapism and also seeing yourself as a victim, rather than an empowered being with agency and choice. Let’s hope it’s the former rather than the latter that gets a boost this eclipse! 🙏

If you are wondering what parts of your life may be getting an sudden jolt during eclipse season, book a reading and we can explore where these surprises may appear.
