I know everyone is busy with the holidays, so I'm keeping this (relatively) short and sweet!
Today sees the start of the Sun's annual trip through the sign of the hard-working sea goat, Capricorn. Ruled by Saturn, this cardinal earth sign kicks off the season of Winter❄️
We've been celebrating the Winter Solstice for millennia, gathering together to welcome back the Sun, as it reaches its southern extreme before it climbs north again towards the Tropic of Cancer.
To rejoice in the gradual lengthening of day (and it is VERY gradual to start😜) I would invite you to mark today by spending some time outdoors, getting your vitamin D the OG way. Light a fire in your woodstove, burn candles as the sun sets or use some tea lights to celebrate the Sun's return🌞With the cold weather we've had lately, it needs all of the encouragement it can get!
As the Sun Stands Still, We Pause
