Guess Who's Back? Not Shady😜
Mercury moves forward today, ending a three-ish week period which may have brought some slowdowns, back-tracking and a *little* frustration with tech, talk and travel. And while this is worth a heartfelt "WOO HOO!", tomorrow, things get even better! Lovely Venus returns to her castle as a beautiful evening star in her home sign of Libra. She is a gracious, welcoming Queen here, resolving polarities, sowing harmony and equalizing the playing field.

Pluto may be small, but he packs a punch!☄️
After Pluto's meeting with Venus, he slides back into the last degrees of Capricorn to finish up a renovation he's been working on here since 2008. From September 1st until November 19, Pluto has his swansong in Capricorn for the last time in our lifetimes. He won't be back here again for roughly 250 years, so he's got his work cut out for him this autumn😳 Consider what area of your life has been going through a controlled demolition for the last 15 or so years and get ready for the finishing touches!
The same day that Pluto shifts signs, the planet Uranus shifts directions and begins its retrograde journey. The outer planets spend many months in apparent retrograde (an optical illusion!), but the day they change direction often highlights archetypal themes connected to the planet. With Uranus, this can be unexpected change, doing things your own way, bucking the trend and going against the grain. Uranus brings awakening and growth and pushes us out of our comfort zone⚡️
Is September the Real Start of the Year?I've certainly made the most of play and connection this Leo season, and while it has been wonderful, I'm ready to get back into the groove of work, service and healthy & supportive daily routines. I've recently committed to a daily breathwork regime which I'm really enjoying and I'm considering a return to two other life practices which I've embraced before: running & sober living.
Virgo season is the ideal time to make these covenants to ourselves, as Danielle Blackwood describes in her book, The Twelve Faces of the Goddess. Virgo is self-sufficient, observant, discerning and analytical. Connected to the virgin goddess Hestia, keeper of the sacred fire, Virgo is "whole unto herself"🙏
The New Moon in Virgo on September 2nd happens hot on the heels of all of this other astro intel, so intentions set at this time hold this broader energy. It is also the last New Moon before eclipse season kicks off later in the month. Slow down & take some time to really tune in to what you want to invite into your life🌚
